I must have been at least a little good this year cause I got some nice gifts.
Got a lot of chocolate, so I can bring some back to London also.
I have been thinking about buying a mini speaker for a long time, but I have never mentioned it, so I was suprised when i got one from my dad. The biggest suprise I got when i opened a gift containing a Samsung Galaxy Tab, I almost didn't belive it.
I also got some dvd's, a decorative Christmas tree light and a calender.
I am very happy with my presents.

Christmas Traditions.
Christmas is a time for traditions and I love having things to look forward to each year.
The tree is ready decorated the 23. and we always watch the pre-Christmas eve tv programme. The old show Dinner For One is showed New Years Eve in other countries but here in Norway they have the tradition of showing it December 23.
The 24. (Christmas Eve) is a day filled with tv, chocolate and carols.
This is the day we visit all aunt and uncles and deliver the gifts, this year I didn't join my dad for this because I have been working so much and had a bit of a cold. So I got to watch all the Christmas shows instead. Tre Nøtter Til Askepot (Three wishes for Cinderella), Reisen Til Julestjernen ( The Journey to the Christmas Star) and the Disney Christmas special.
Around 16.00 we visit the graveyard to decorate the graves of our loved ones that has passed away.
We put up a wreath and light candles .
When I was younger we did this earlier in the day when it was still daylight, but now I think is so nice to see all the lights from the candles. This is one of my most important traditions.
At 17.00 it is important to hear the bells from the local church and then Christmas Eve is officially started.
Dinner is always served 18.00 and we eat ribs of pork, (ribs of lamb is New Years Eve dinner). My dad always manage to make it perfectly.
For dessert we have cloudberry, cream and ice cream.
After dinner it is time to open presents, coffe and cake and just relax while watching tv.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas songs.
Since the start of december I have been listening a lot to Christmas songs. I like the old classics and new versions og the songs.
If I should choose 5 songs to recommend it would be. (You can listen to them in Spotify).
Cold December Night - Michael Bublé
The Little Drummer Boy - Bing Crosby
Fairytale of New York - The Pogues
O Holy Night - Bing Crosby
Baby, It's Cold Outside - Kurt Nilsen
I also like the Christmas album from She and Him, but the five songs I chose is the songs I have been listening to the most this year.

Christmas feeling in Norway.
I have arrived back in my hometown in Norway for a Christmas/work holiday. I had a meeting with Adecco about temp work in grocery stores and less than an hour after the meeting I had a 3 day assignment. Hoping to work as much as possible when I am here so I can relax a bit when I get back to London.
The Christmas feeling is strong already as it have been snowing everyday and it is nice and white, hopefully it will stay until after Christmas.

Day off.
I had the day off yesterday and I couldn't just sit inside even though that would have saved me some money on impulse shopping. I went for a walk to Hampstead village and Hampstead Heath.
It was so nice and quiet in the park and I decided to take some photos with my phone.
The tree made me think of the whomping willow from Harry Potter.
